How to Cope with Excessive Sugar

Sugar is a major issue for diabetes. But, almost every drink and the food we consume everyday are full of sugar. For example, fruit juice, coffee, tea, milk, yoghurt, bread berselai, breakfast cereals, and much more. Even sipping a bottle of soda equal to taking nearly 10 teaspoons of sugar (limit consumption of sugar in a day). So how to cope with excessive sugar consumption every day unconsciously.

The human body, sugar only increases energy, no vitamins, minerals, fiber, or antioxidants that can actually be found in natural foods. And what's more excessive sugar consumption can be saved as glukusa and fat in the body. If excess will lead to diabetes, high blood sugar levels.

But of course it is impossible to eliminate sugar from our lives. Here are some tips that is easy enough to limit sugar intake into our bodies:

1. Reduce instant food products or packaging, including those made with flour with a sweet taste.

2. Eat more fruit instead of sugar.

3. Stop the habit of eating your favorite sweet foods for three weeks. After the interval, the sense of taste you will experience changes and you will be addicted to sweet foods will not be as strong as before.

4. Choose the sweetness of honey instead of sugar. In addition to a more natural, honey-laden efficacy and no less sweet than regular sugar.

5. Control your urge to snack, especially sweet foods. For example, if you want to eat a sugary donut, take a break 15 minutes to think about food again, or switch to another activity.
